Founder: Kevin G. Cummings, PT, DPT, MSA

The Heel Height Knee Square™ was designed, engineered, and patented by Kevin Cummings in Burlington, VT. After a literature review, he recognized a need to quantify knee motion in different perspectives; this developed into relevant foot/ankle applications. His 30-year profession began at Dartmouth Medical Center. He joined a private practice in Colorado, and he served as a consulting P.T. for the U.S. Men’s Ski Team; he also taught in the adaptive alpine ski program at Winter Park. Returning to Middlebury Hospital in New England, he received APTA orthopedic board certification. Kevin is currently a clinical lead at the Orthopedics & Rehabilitation Center affiliated with his alma mater—University of Vermont. He holds a physical therapy doctorate from Northeastern University.
